LEGO Serious Play® Fundraiser
Quest to Learn is an innovative public school that is founded on the principles of game based learning, design thinking and systems thinking. It is our mission to unlock the creativity of our teachers and students. Oftentimes, it’s nerve wracking for people to share new ideas verbally due to fear of judgment or intimidation. LEGO Serious Play® is a methodology that allows one to build a physical model to represent a complex idea which minimizes anxiety and heightens ingenuity.
We plan to utilize LEGO Serious Play® kits and a trained LEGO facilitator to enable teachers to experience innovative problem solving using a “hands-on, minds-on” process. These LEGO tools support teachers in deeply reflecting on pedagogy and creating a space for open and honest dialogue about enhancing the effectiveness of our school community.
Your donation will be used to purchase LEGO Serious Play® kits and pay for expert facilitation by Heidi Brant on November 5th for Quest to Learn staff. Heidi Brant is certified by the Association of Master Trainers in the Facilitation of the LEGO Serious Play method and materials.

Eventually, teachers will be empowered to use these materials during design challenges to prototype ideas and during Homebase or advisory as a physical representation of nuanced emotional landscapes. This process uses metaphors to unlock creativity and honest conversations.
We would greatly appreciate your support!
