Mobile Quest Summer Camp

Mobile Quest, is a free, week-long summer camp where fifth graders discover game design through the use of smartphones. Now in its third year, Mobile Quest campers work with designers, programmers and mobile experts to play, analyze and create location-based games. During Mobile Quest, campers use a variety of design and media tools and work together to use GPs and other mobile technologies to turn the city into their game board. No experience is required just curiousity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Mobile Quest is designed by Quest founder the Institute of Play with in-coming Quest to Learn students in mind. Mobile Quest emphasizes team work, problem solving, digital literacy and introduces campers to fundamental design principles.
