Institute of Play Afterschool

IMG_4803Developed by Q2L's founding partner, Institute of Play, Institute of Play Afterschool is an enrichment program created to activate kids' curiosity about design, media, technology, and its relationship to the world around them. The program extends Q2L's focus on tinkering, creative problem-solving and inventing into the out-of-school space.

The Fall 2011 edition of Institute of Play Afterschool offers three great workshops: EXTRA! EXTRA! QUEST TV, SHORT CIRCUIT STUDIO and ART + DESIGN CHALLENGE WEDNESDAYS. All programs provide after-school opportunities for middle-schoolers in an informal and inquiry-based environment where design challenges inspire participants to tackle new problems and design new solutions based on their interests and passions. No prior experience is necessary, just curiosity and a willingness to learn new things!
